Ripe smell of mushrooms..
even truffles…
led to a rather flat flavour…
a touch acidity
would have helped..
but the hot vintage 2003
has left this wine one-dimensional.
No idea of the price as it was a present…
so no plus points for being good value..
mark it as it tastes.
