Dried cherry aroma……some black pepper….quite soft on entry…prickly..like a strawberry bush….the tannins still dominant and spiky acidity..softened up the next day…..which bodes well for a future..a terroir Pinot.

Orange Gatorade Sports Drink

Ever want to make Gatorade at home?
This recipe will equal the electrolyte replacement found in many popular sport drinks like Gatorade.
1 package of unsweetened orange Kool Aid (or any flavor you like)
2 quarts cold water
1/2 cup sugar

Eggplant Manicotti

I prepared this eggplant dish last night using the homemade tomato sauce recipe I posted earlier this week.
2 medium eggplants, peeled
18 oz Ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream

Arby’s Jamocha Shake – Copycat Recipe

1 cup cold coffee
1 cup low-fat milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 cups vanilla ice cream
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
Combine the coffee, milk, and sugar in a blender and blend for 15 seconds or until the sugar is dissolved.

1 large can tomato sauce
1 small can tomato puree
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 can ripe olives
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
