I love a mint julip, but I think the Kentucky Derby stand-by could use a partner in crime! I found this delish sounding drink (a take on a traditional caipirinha) that would be just as good as the julip. Check it out:

Mix 50% or more of dried out coffee grounds to equal amount of standard kitty litter for cheap, ordor fee kitty litter. Especially great for multi-cat households. Start small to get cats used to the change. May eventually work at 100% (I am still testing). Absorbs ALL urine odor. Get free used coffee grinds from your local cafe. Starbucks even bags it for you.

I absolutely did not like this recipe. It did not taste nothing like panera. I would know I eat it several times a month. It had too much onion, and the nutmeg was gross. I'm sorry but the people that said this tastes just like panera, has never eating there. I dont even give it a star. So disappointed!!!

I love me some chicken! Thanks for sharing that recipe. Here's a quick tip for when you're in a hurry and you need grilled chicken fast. First of all, you need to buy the pre-cooked grilled chicken packages at Sam's Club. They are in the frozen section. They're mesquite flavored...and quite tasty. So anyway, when you're in a pinch, just pop these babies in the microwave (about 5 minutes for two), and they come out hot & ready to eat. You can cut them up into strips to use in a salad, eat them as is, or make a sandwich out of them.

Thanks Beth.

It really is horrible here. Because Australia has such a small population, and the wine industry is such a tiny tight-knit community, we all seem to know people in the flames, some of whom we know we'll never see again. But you know, one hopes.

Like I have relatives there in the mountain forests that I can't contact, and know dozens with vineyards in the burnt bits, and bits which may yet burn.

But humans are astonishing creatures. Many of the poor souls who've been underwater for over a week in the tropical storms in far northern Queensland are sending a percentage of their government flood relief money to the bushfire victims, saying they're a lot worse off and that water goes away but fire only takes. Forever.

The whole country's in very deep shock, which is gradually surrendering to intense grief, often bitter.

It's not just the loss, but the sheer violence of the thing. Our country exploded. And there are nutters within, lighting these damned conflagrations!

I get the feeling sometimes that this poor old island continent will some day buck us off.

It's heartening to know we have concerned friends on the other side of this Earth.

Keep The Faith!

This soup was so bad. Warning to anyone. The comments say it is just as good as Panera. Obviously the people that left those comments have NOT eaten at Panera. This soup tastes nothing like Panera. After following all the directions it tastes like a bowl of creaming yellow nutmeg. I would give this soup from start to finish and the overall ingredients not even a half of a star...

My husband and I went out tonight and bought all the ingredients to make this soup. I had 2 problems while cooking the soup. First, when you add the flour to the butter and whisk it,the butter totally soaks up the flour and clumps together. The directions say to whisk it for 4 minutes, which would burn it so I only did it for about a minute. Also, I added just a pinch of nutmeg at the end and it ruined the entire batch of soup. It tasted very nutty. It would have been a better soup if the nutmeg was omitted, but still not as good as Panera.

Hi, just had my first spatburgunder, a 1479 n , I think 2006, at a local restaurant in San Franciso. It was surprisingly a good Pinot Noir. Any suggestions for this type and where in San Francisco they can be found?
Thanks

I made these wings last night and they will light-up your tastebuds! Nuclear is a good name ;-) The wings also have a bit of sweet flavor and the blue cheese adds additional notes of flavor. Excellent for tailgate parties or Sunday brunch. Thanks for sharing this scrumptious recipe!
